Care for persistent worry, low mood, and the challenges that affect everyday life. We work with you to understand your concerns and develop an individualized care plan.
Autism Evaluations & Care
Diagnostic evaluations and ongoing care for children and adults, informed by an understanding of neurodivergent experiences.
ADHD Evaluations & Treatment
Assessment and ongoing treatment for children and adults experiencing challenges with attention, impulsivity, organization, or daily functioning.
We also provide care for OCD and other mood disorders. Children ages 5 and older are welcome. Children age 4 may be considered individually.

Meet Barbara Goodman
I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with approximately 30 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
As a provider with autism and ADHD, and a mother of five neurodivergent children, I bring lived experience to my work. My approach starts with listening, understanding your needs, and working together on your care.

Most appointments are offered through telehealth for patients in North Carolina and Virginia. Evening and weekend appointments are available to help accommodate work, school, and family schedules.
